  • Fee free access to facilities 8am until 9.30pm, except when classes and workshops are timetabled.

    Class / workshop discounted fee price – no club facility fee

    Classes - Priority to enrol – opens before non-members

    Can attend – Tuesday club day/night

    Key access If New to pottery – you can apply for key access after 1 year of classes. If an Experienced Potter – you can apply for key access (approval by committee)

    Club exhibition – opportunity to exhibit and sell your work

    Christmas Market – opportunity to sell your work

    Gallery – opportunity to progress to sell your work through the gallery

    Firing Pots - Regular Membership firing

    $3 per kilo bisque

    $3 per kilo gloss

    Total $6 per kilo

    (No glaze included – use of club glazes is set for discussion at the 2024 strategic planning meeting)

    Kiln training opportunity to progress to become a kiln user.

    Kiln trained members will have the ability to hire the club kilns. But this opportunity comes with an added layer of responsibility.

  • Only members have access to facilities.

    If you are an experienced potter, we welcome your interest in joining our club.

    Membership fee is $100 (full year) or $60 (half year)

  • If you are a Member or a non Member using the club’s facilities then we ask you to -

    Comply with all guidelines, policies, and procedures with regards to the use of our facilities.

    Comply with the health and safety policies and procedures.

    Clean up after every session and take clay slurry home

    If you are a Member then we ask you to contribute in some way to the upkeep of facilities, eg. attending Working bees, help with an Exhibition, join the Committee, doing something from the ‘job list’.

  • Our Club Day is open to members every Tuesday from 10-2pm and 7-9pm

    Every 2nd Tuesday of the month is Club Night Demo, featuring demonstrations on a variety of topics.

  • We offer 10h short courses - Basics for Beginners, Surface Texture, Colour Decorations as well as various weekend workshops.

    For one-off classes, in Christchurch please see our friends at General Pottery, Bots Pots Christchurch, Stolen Bagel or Katie Jenssen Ceramics (Kaiapoi).

  • We are unable to offer public firing services. This service is highly sort after. We will be sure to update here when the facility becomes available.

  • All classes are available to both Members and Non Members. We advertise all classes and workshops to our Members initially.

    Non Member class fees include a $30 facility fee.
