The well equipped studio and kiln yard is located
at the Mt Pleasant Community
Centre McCormacks Bay Road.
Members are able to use the club facilities at anytime when a
class or other event is not in progress. A nominal fee is
charged to cover costs. To use the kilns members must have
completed a training course and be approved.
Equipment in the studio includes 4 electric kilns, 12 electric
wheels, a slab roller, extruder and a spray booth. Outside there
is a kiln yard with a fast fire Olsen wood kiln, 10 cu ft gas
kiln, diesel fired salt glazing kiln, pit fire and raku kilns.
 The club room has limited storage shelves used by the classes
and includes a kitchen with access to toilet facilities.
The Group has a very extensive library and subscribes to a
number of regular ceramic publications. Books and magazines are
available for loan.
Most popular clays can be purchased from the club rooms.
