Nights |
Club nights are
normally held on the 2nd Wednesday evening in the month. All
members are encouraged to attend these demonstrations and
discussions.

Club Night with Helen Campbell on
Mosaics
I am so keen on mosaicing that I have recently been to
Italy to fulfil a 3 year dream and attend a 5 day mosaic
workshop. The workshop was held in the city of Ravenna the
home of wonderful traditional mosaics. I would like to share
with club members that experience I have the mosaics I
worked within the workshop to show you along with some
pictures.
I will also demonstrate how to make a simple garden mosaic
using some of the ceramics you might have seem me sneak into
spare places in the wood firings, along with stones and
schist. |

fellowship.

Firings |
Club Firings are
held periodically. These included all day wood kiln firings,
raku, gas and pit firings. Dates are advised well in advance
in the Newsletters. |

31 January Start of Year Cleaning of
the Club Rooms
Starting at 9:30am. Bring your own cleaning tools. If you
cant make the cleaning, the morning tea is always a hit.
Please remove all of your raw and bisc work from the
shelves, all unclaimed work will be donated or disposed of. |

Club New Years Party and Pot Luck
Starting at 6.00pm. If weather permits we will have our pot
luck new years dinner in the yard, otherwsie in the club
rooms. Come and share a glass of wine, soft drinks will also
be supplied. Bring Finger food to share. Partners and family
are very welcome. |
